Veterans Choice Program

We want to honor all veterans for their service to our country. We are grateful for their commitment to protect us, and we thank the men and women currently serving in our military. Did you know that U.S. veterans qualify for 100%-covered acupuncture treatments through the Veterans Choice Program? The Veterans' Choice Act is a law that provides funding for veterans so they can seek treatment outside of the VA, if services needed are limited or not offered. Veterans who qualify for medical coverage through the Department of Veterans Affairs qualify for 100% covered acupuncture treatments. Acupuncture has been shown to help with:

• Managing pain such as pain in the back, shoulder, neck, knee, or ankle; headaches, and other conditions

• Mental health conditions such as PTSD, depression, anxiety, and substance use addiction

• Health problems such as not sleeping, restless leg syndrome, and Tinnitus are just a few of the many conditions that acupuncture can help.

To access acupuncture services outside of the VA, individuals must obtain pre-authorization from the VA first, then call Lincoln Medical Acupuncture for an appointment at 402-327-6973.
